I Live by Faith (Sep 30, 2023)

 Happy conference! I believe in a living prophet & I love conference!

Last week I gave a talk on the restoration of the gospel. As I prepared for it, I had one of the most powerful spiritual experiences of my life! It impacted me for days.

I want to hold onto that feeling forever.

I am so grateful for Joseph Smith & the restoration of Christ’s church. Because of the restoration I know the heavens are open, I know the power of God is on the earth, I know there is salvation for the dead, there is progression after this life, we are all divine, & families are eternal.

My life is better because of Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, & the restoration of all the keys and ordinances and teachings of the gospel.

How?

Because it brings Jesus Christ into my life. I am better because of my relationship with Him! My Savior died for me, & I love Him. He lives. He is there for us. He saves us. He will come again.

He’s real. The gospel is real. It. Is. All. Real. “I did not give my life to a fairy tale.” (Elder Holland)

Neither did Joseph Smith.

Neither do I.

“I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, & gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the proof that He, in fact, possesses power to redeem all who will come unto Him—redeem them from sorrow, injustice, regret, sin, and even death….
