 12 Days of Moments with Christ Day 9

There was a time when everything felt wrong. In the midst of despair while walking under the stars, praying to my Father above, these words came to me, “You can make it right.”

Sounds simple, but for me it was like lightning. In that moment all became clear. I heard it in my head again and again… you can make it right. You can make it right. You can MAKE IT RIGHT.

I felt free. It didn’t matter HOW things had fallen apart. What mattered is IT COULD BE MADE RIGHT. Because of Jesus Christ. With Him, things could be fixed. It changed my whole perspective. It changed my focus. It gave me hope.

We do not have to stay where we are, stuck where we are, doomed in our choices or even others’. We can make it right. And later, maybe many years later, we will see it absolutely 100% was.

Elder Patrick Kearon’s talk “Jesus Christ and Your New Beginning” is AWESOME and you should read it! But here are a few quotes to sum things up for me.

“You can start again through the might of the Master of new beginnings. He never tires of giving new beginnings to us.”

“You don’t have to be who you’ve been before. Embrace your fresh start, your second or third or fourth— or hundredth— chance, offered to you through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.”

“Please receive your new beginning, even today, right now. Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith, writing countless new chapters with us. He is the Beginning and the End— the end of our shame and suffering and the beginning of a new life in Him, letting us receive His grace, leave the past behind, and begin again with a new dawn, as many times as we need.” ❤️
